Re: The winners
Hello,
Marlon here.
I'd like to thank everyone who watched the video and submitted
your comment. It was so great to hear from Larry, Elwood,
Elizabeth, Donna, Arline, Ron and so many others from the
present and past.
Nice to hear from you Elwood.
1. Next week Tim will be emailing everyone who posted a special
little thank you in the form of access to one of my paid products,
which you may or may not already own.
2. I'm probably going to take all the responses you gave, think
about them, distill common elements, thoughts, insights and
solutions and create a report for you. Or that's what I'm thinking
about.
Watch for this special report....
3. The real reward you get is that this gave you an incentive to
watch the video and think about it. The 3-step formula really
does work and in my ezine today I showed multiple examples of how
I used it in just the past 7 days.
This was a very hard choice. There were so many comments I liked
for different reasons. I'm sorry I can't pick all of you but I
am a for profit business.
Now, if you can post on MY blog like this, is there any reason
you can't post on YOUR blog and send emails to YOUR list
giving your feelings about other products that you promote?
You just proved to yourself you CAN do this business. That's the
big Aha! here you should be getting about now...
4. I seriously doubt anyone purchased Promo Dash believing this
would increase your likelihood of being selected. That would not be
legal for me to. So in the unlikely event you did that, please
contact Tim at getyoursupport.com.
5. And now, the moment you're waiting for:
I read all the comments and the choices YOU voted for. Based
on that and my own judgment and that of my staff, here's my
choice:
=====================
a. Honorable mention:
=====================
A lot of you mentioned Karen Kramer. She snags a product of her
choice from me for up to $100. Post to Tim on Getyoursupport.com
and tell him what you want.

b. Runner Up:

I have numerous websites, all related to the two areas I am
passionate about - Education Reform and Animal Rescue.
I spent so much time following this way and that but never
seemed to nail down the process of Promoting and Selling.
I have Marlon's Design Dashboard and I am thrilled with it.
Complete from A to Z and full of information I would never
have thought to ask.
If the Promo Dashboard is as good and detailed as the
Design Dashboard, it should have everything I need to
Promote and Sell PLUS answers to the questions I'm too
inexperienced to even know to ask.
Marlon, your practical down-to-earth approach is so
refreshing, especially after all the hype that I stupidly
allowed myself to be detoured by.
Folks, Design Dashboard changed my life and gave me
the skills I needed. I know Promo Dashboard can
do the same.
Thanks for the contest, Marlon!
Your friend,
Brennan

ART snags the 300 bucks. NOT because he wrote a poem but because
if you read it, he hits on a number of important issues. Art gives
his web site as: kindleebooksreader.com
Art, I'm going to send your 300 to the email you posted with
unless you post on the blog and tell me to do otherwise. I think
I'll give you time to respond and send it in the morning if it's
ok.
You need an email hooked up to your bank or Paypal so it's easiest
to get your dough.
Here it is:
Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the net
Marketers were selling and hedging their bets.
The copy was worded and thought of with care
in the hopes that the buyers soon would be there.
The websites were hosted and offers were said
while visions of conversions danced in their heads.
Marlon with dashboard which I hope to use
was giving us tips on how not to lose.
With three easy steps you can avoid such a clatter
and focus on things that essentially matter
Target the market, give freebies and more
get opt-ins and write them...that's what responders are for!
Its hard to stay focused with so much web chatter
and concentrate on those things that matter.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
Marlon in a video that I need to hear.
And Marlon whistled and shouted and called out the clues
'Target your market, learn what they use
set up an optin, make sure it's right
Build up your list all through the night
Launch to your market with all sorts of fun
like podcasts and mallcasts...don't stop till you're done
The launch isn't what Jeff Walker would use
But a launch to your market they can't refuse
But Marlon, what if nobody's buyin?
Well, heck, don't stop your tryin!
With pdfs, videos, podcasts and more
These are our weapons, that's what they're for
If you're having trouble managing these
Then ask for Promo Dashboard, pleaseâ
The purest and simplest way to success
Is follow the dashboard, do nothing less
So Marlon ,like Santa, delivers the toys
to all of us marketing good girls and boys.
With apologies to the author of Twas the night
before Christmas

Closing Thoughts
=================
Read my ezine today if you didn't. I spell out more info
on the 3-step process of target, freebie, launch -- and give
several examples of how I personally used this formula in my
business several times in the past week.
One final thought:
Sell THREE and yours is $#&*
Yours is a potty word I can't see in email. In other words, if
you sell the product as an affiliate on a 70% commission, you
only got to sell two to pay for it. But that doesn't rhyme.
Three and yours is *($) sounds better.
To sign up, just go to http://www.getyourprofits.com
You didn't think a marketer was going to send you an email without
at least ONE link, did you now?
Best wishes,
Marlon
PS: Tim has to hand email everyone who posted your reward so
that will take several days probably. He'll be back in the saddle
on Monday.
