Re: Big ticket and no competition
Hello,
Marlon here.
If ALL you do is read my ezine and snag Amazing Formula and a few
of my Dashboards, you know more about marketing than 90% of the
people in the world.
....the world.
In "The Red Factor" I explained how doing what I do for a living
is absolute insanity. Why? Because in Internet marketing you
compete against the best in the world.
Here is what I taught you to do in "The Red Factor."
1. Look for people who are UNDER served and serve them.
2. Look for people who are OVER served by products that are too
expensive and too complex.
3. Sell into non consumption...people who don't currently buy
at all.
All you gotta do is use GOOGLE and search.
Since I'm a writer and a creative soul by nature, I tend to like
others would have a creative spirit. Mucking around this morning,
I typed this into Google...
custom sculpture
So go to Google and search that phrase. I think this link will
also do it for you, but it may not work:
http://www.google.com/search?q=custom+sculpture&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
Don't you admire people who can take a photo or an idea and do
a custom sculpture based on it?
Here are a few of the web sites in the top 10:
http://www.largeart.com/private-collection.aspx
The Large Art Company apparently did some decent seo work. They
are listed #1. And they do beautiful work.
But is there a personal letter there?
Is there a freebie offer?
Is there something to get you to act today?
Did they make your choice simple or complicated?
See, these are things as a marketer you may take for granted.
And these are big ticket items. Have you ever thought about
helping companies like these for a fee?
Here is listing #3:
http://www.3dsteve.com/
Knowing what you hopefully know by now if you're read "Best of
Marlon Sanders," "Gimme My Money Now" and "Amazing Formula" not
to mention Promo Dashboard, do you think you might have a few
genius ideas for this site?
Like maybe a personal letter, an offer, a freebie of some sort?
Here's an example:
====================================
Hello,
My name is Steve.
I'm a sculpture. I live right here in XXXX but I do work for
clients all over the world. I'm a real person. You can call me
if you have an idea for a custom sculpture you'd like to chat
about.
My cell is 333.3333.3333.
Anyway, have you ever had a picture in your mind you wanted a
sculpture of? Or maybe a pet, family member or photo that you're
fond of?
Well, that's what I do.
I take the things in your brain or in pictures and work hand in
hand with you to turn those into custom sculptures that will last
a lifetime.
=============================
Just yesterday, I emailed someone who felt like the dollars they
had spent on Internet marketing had gone nowhere. But maybe
you know more than you think you know.
What about your ability to take the simple things we know about
seo, pay-per-click, marketing, sales letters, conversions,
autoresponders and so forth....what if we took those and used them
to change the world?
How many businesses even KNOW about autoresponders?
How many understand sales letters?
How many know about making offers?
All these things I've taught you in Design Dashboard, Promo
Dashboard, Red Factor, Amazing Formula -- all those things work.
They aren't some theory.
Here's another site from that search:
http://www.marbleclassics.com/custom-sculpture-request-form.cgi
I'm NOT saying you could create a totally pro web site. But do
you think you might be able to improve on the marketing process
there and make it 50% better?
This person or company appears to do incredible work....and it'd
be so awesome if they were empowered to really use the Internet
like a fiddle, the way we know how to do.
This is the gospel of Internet marketing.
These techniques are not theory.
They're highly refined now.
We KNOW how to create squeeze pages to get people on a list.
We KNOW how to follow up with emails that get people to respond.
We KNOW how to do so many things.
Open your eyes and search Google. Look at the businesses you
run into every day.
Can you see the opportunity and the possibilities?
Best wishes,
Marlon
