FUNNY STORY:
Joel decided snagging up to $20,000 a DAY off his business wasn't
good enough. He wanted to through his hat in the "guru" ring.
I totally TRASHED OUT the first sales letter he showed me and FORCED
him to pay $11,000+ to a top notch copywriter.
I TRASHED his graphic design and he re-did it.
I spoke to him TODAY and he's exhausted from working night and day
to pull it off -- for LESS than he'd make in a few days doing
Adwords.
His whole Adwords business is outsourced to India, so really, he
doesn't have to work much AT ALL.
He wants to HELP PEOPLE. I really think he's telling the truth on
that, although in a way it's misguided. What he'll find out is
that helping people is a lot more work than just doing his thing!
Anyways, I'm laughing my tail off over him finding out how
competitive the "guru business" is and how much harder it is to
bank some coin doing that than just doing his video method and his
Adwords method.
Gurus do this stuff more for RECOGNITION and fame than for banking
the coin. Because if you're a good marketer, there are EASIER ways
to stack paper.
So I'm having a GOOD LAUGH over this one! I cracked up when I
talked to him on the phone today and he was so sleepy he could
barely articulate!
