What's up this morning?
Why do I ask?
Because if you read what I wrote about Michael Masterson's goal
setting approach and watched his video on Youtube as I
suggested....you are doing ONE THING this morning....
Working on your highest priority for the day.
You START working on your most important goal. You try to log
30 minutes, an hour or 2 or 3 hours at the BEGINNING of your
day on your highest priority.
This is how Michael wrote and filmed a movie, writes books,
etc. It's such a great idea, I'm doing it.
Now, I START the day off slow. So I'm trying to get adjusted to
it. This morning, for example, I woke up.
Drank some coffee while checking Twitter...saw that John Reese
had messaged me back, someone else informed me I think I
broadcasted to EVERYONE what was MEANT for one person....Joe
Vitale sent me his phone...
See how cool Twitter is? Read the comments yesterday on my
blog post. EVERYONE uses some Twitter Deck thingy. Have NO idea
what it is but I'll check it out.
Also, I checked to see if Brent from MultiplierMethod.com had
messaged me. He hasn't because he's traveling in Spain with
dodgy Internet access.
Danny (my designer) just messaged me.
I'm getting ready to fix some Egg Beaters and ham and maybe
wheat eggos. Normally I go to the gym but I'm scared until I
get this darned hernia fixed.
Now, I also checked Clickbank sales from the 2 products I
recommended yesterday. Clickbank or other affiliate stuff is
over and above our regular sales.
Yesterday it was $165. Which to me kinda sucks. That means
only 5 or 6 people took ACTION and bought either the blogging
product or Twitter product I linked to.
Granted I haven't bought either but I looked both over pretty
carefully. I was a little disappointed in that. Are you all
telling me you are proficient in both blogging and Twitter?
In contrast I probably got $1000 or $1500 off the Yahoo ebook
and did really well off the Seo Lies too. You need to go find
my post on the blog about Seo Lies and snag it. Kirt just met
with Justin this weekend.
He slipped me Justin's Power Point for which I felt guilty and
emailed Justin asking permission! But Justin is for real.
Seriously, do you have your BLOG set up and are you BLOGGING?
You should be writing articles to your list JUST LIKE I'm doing
here.
And you should do that 1X to 5X per week. Daegan does it 2X
daily. So does Furey and Alanis. They're crazy men.
But you NEED to be writing an ezine or putting out content.
Listen up pray tell....
I do NOT CARE if you got TWO subscribers and one of them has their
finger twitching on the unsub button. WRITE.
Why?
You need to get in the HABIT of articulating thoughts. You NEED
to get comfortable with writing.
So WRITE.
Send out your article or content to your list. Tell stories like
Matt Furey does or John Alanis. Or Daegan. Or yours truly.
Get on Bob Bly's list and Joe Vitalie's list. Study great writers.
But WRITE.
Even if you got 2 subscribers.
Now, POST what you write on your BLOG. Even if the blog isn't
pretty yet. Putting stuff on it 2X to 5X a week will MOTIVATE
you to make it look better.
Now Twitter....
I NEVER EVER talk to John Reese on the phone. I've talked to him
maybe once or twice briefly at seminars. That was back in the
old days....
But we twittered the other day. NEVER woulda happened by email.
I guarantee you.
Matt Garrett is a cool guy....sharp guy....who has a great ebook
on blogging I plan to endorse. Matt Twittered me.
I reconnected with Ben Mack who is a very bright guy. And really
gutsy. Because at a seminar in San Antonio, he bet me he could
"ACT" like he could read a girl's palm...even though he knew
nothing about it.
So I called over this girl and he did.
Really funny and bright guy. So we reconnected.
I'm really stoked to get to talk to Joe Vitale. I mean, we met
at a seminar. I lost his phone number.....
By email...ain't gonna happen.
But Twitter.
Boom. Now I can call Joe! How cool is that?
So boys and girls, if you don't TWITTER or you don't BLOG, go
to my blog and hunt down those 2 links I gave you yesterday
and get with the program here.
Are you ON THE FORMULA or are you NOT?
If you ARE then start writing, start publishing, get a stupid
blog up, write your content emails or ezine and LIST BUILD
for gosh sakes.
Use Adwords. Use Yahoo. Write articles. Do Justin's seo thing.
Do Marketing Bully System.
But list build.
