Why I always suck before I get better

Hello,

Marlon here.

There's a rule of thumb in learning
anything new.

You always suck before you get better.

At least, that's true for me.

Anytime I try something new, it's slow
and painful or arduous at first.

So yesterday I was playing around with
making some Pinterest posts using automation
because Pinterest has a super long life
span for its content.

Well, the first post I did had no URL
attached. It was SUPPOSED to have a
URL link in it.

But it didn't.

That's par for the course.

A lot of people stop there. They let the
pain of mistakes stop them.

What they don't realize is after you do it
10x or 20x, you don't make mistakes any
longer.

And somewhere along the way, you can do it
really fast practically in your sleep.

I'll never forget writing my first 5 newsletter
issues.

The first one took me a full month to write.
It was like pulling teeth.

300 or 400 newsletters later, I write them
on a Saturday morning and they're 2x or 3x
the length.

So whether you're trying to learn how to get
organic traffic, create a product, or run ads,
you're going to suck at first.

It's normal.

And it'll get better.

Just a word of encouragement.

Best wishes,

Marlon
